Ocean 2030 – an experimental short film

First published on Beir Bua Journal

It’s never the finished item I like but the process of figuring out how to make it, the behind the scence of creation. I leave the last frame in the middle of the screen and you can clearly see the white background – I wanted to use a meta perspective to allow you to question my narrative and bias, so you can see that the video is “fake” and yet it’s message is so utterly real. This is a way of playing with the linguistics of visual language. I must say, studying to become a Master Hypnotherapist, really informs my work more than any writing course I’ve done.
