The annual Children’s Books Ireland conference is sure to be full of, yeap – you guessed it; rebels and rulebreakers!


The conference will be held in Smithfield’s Light House Cinema on the 18th and 19th May 2013.

Anyone with an interest in children’s books is welcome: parents, writers, teacher, readers, librarians, illustrators.

For the 2013 conference CBI are putting together a session about Irish authors/illustrators for children who have fallen off ‘the edge of the page’ & whose work has been forgotten. They want to ask YOU to talk for a few mins about authors/illustrators you love who need to be re-examined. Email aoife@childrensbooksireland.ie with your suggestions!
