Write here, write now

There are so many great resources out there in the www, maybe too many. As a teacher, I spend a lot of my time researching, gathering, harvesting, reading and then writing lesson plans. As a writer, I spend even more time learning more about the craft.

Here are a few great links

Inis Magazine

The New York Times series of writing lessons, starting with the basics and leading to more advanced techniques.

The Chronicle articles on editing and grammar.

Cool verbs, my favourites are – micawber, pule and tyro.

More cool verbs.

Homophones – words that sound alike but are spelt differently with different meaning.

Punctuation marks?!! Use them, don’t abuse them.

Oh and look at the lovely magazine I got in the post today. I love everything about Inis Magazine.
