So, there I was, alone in the day time, eveyone at jobs and me a new teacher with no teaching job, no money for a hobby and a nagging feeling. I ignored the nagging feeling; I had been feeling this way forever. I just switched on the TV, but I could not bring myself to watch it.
That is it; I have had enough of passively consuming media, let’s go all teacher-ly and try to create.
So I joined twitter, started a blog and here I am 6 months later, using the blog to get (successfully) teacher/writing/pr jobs. And now that nagging feeling is gone!
I am writing a children’s book and a YA book, doing a writing course with Caren Kennedy and having a blast! The best thing I ever did with my life, (besides the Hibernia post grad in primary teaching), was blogging.
If you guys want in, then why not have a look at all of my data, help, blog sos and tips on blogging. In my article for writing.ie

PS if I could give a tip; it would be to be dogged. Pursue what you want with constant persistence and realise that it will take a lot of hard work and cheek to get there. Bear in mind that if you don’t succeed then you can be guaranteed that you had fun along the way, and that is the best sort of success.

I enjoy writing and am glad to have found this way of expressing a part of myself that may never have been given a voice. You are the only writer whose blog I subscribe to and there is very good reason for that – you inspire me Michelle.
